A MIX file is an image file that has been created using the PhotoDraw 2000 software, an illustration and drawing application that was included with the Microsoft Office 2000 software suite. It is used to incorporate images into other Microsoft Office applications.
These files were initially designed to be used with the Microsoft Picture It! program.
